After receiving rave reviews from it’s US and European tours the extremely popular Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience opens 1 March at Resorts World Sentosa, B1 Forum. The exhibits include a complete look at the artist and his works and feature a number of opportunities for participants to become fully immersed in the stunning world of Vincent Van Gogh and his remarkable art.
This famous Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh, lived from 1853–1890, and left his mark on the world with his colourful, impressionist paintings. Despite coming to art at the age of 27 he produced around 2,100 works of art. His sunflower variations and Starry Night being some of the most widely recognised art in the world. With his move to Paris and the discovery of Japanese Woodblock prints, his art because uniquely his own. He developed a bright colour palette and distinct brush stroke pattern which sealed his stylistic approach.
Visitors can view more than 300 artworks, explore the Japanese woodblock prints that inspired his early works, marvel in the 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling immersive digital projections, watch documentaries, fall into a Virtual Reality world of Van Gogh’s making, and even create their own Van Gogh inspired artworks at the creative station. Cafe Terrace by Janice Wong and a vibrant museum shop await you at your journey’s end.
