Dinosaurs Roar In Singapore

Gargantuan dinosaurs stalking smaller ones, carnivores chasing herbivores, the thumping of the heavy built creatures in search of food and the competition for food between the smaller built animals can relive your interest in dinosaurs all over again. The globally-acclaimed production Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience, is showcased at the Singapore Indoor Stadium until September 8, 2019.

The amazing creatures come to life in a theatrical story which tells you about the periods millions of years ago when these creatures roamed the earth. From the largest dinosaur, the Brachiosaurus (11 meters tall and 17 meters from nose to tail) to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the terror of the ancient terrain, as well as the Plateosaurus and Liliensternus from the Triassic period, the Stegosaurus and Allosaurus from the Jurassic period and Torosaurus and Utahraptor from the Cretaceous period – the show includes nine species. A team of 50 – including engineers, fabricators, skin makers, artists, painters and animatronic experts – took a year to build the production, so detailed are the dinosaurs and their movements.

A theatrical story, Walking With Dinosaurs -The Live Experience, is hosted and narrated by Huxley, the shows paleontologist as the audience is transported into the world in which the dinosaurs lived via an impressive arena-sized set featuring projection, amazing lighting effects and of course “living and fighting” dinosaurs.

Audiences are treated to a spectacular show which creates thrilling moments to the more gentle ones depending on the kind of dinosaurs that ‘walk out into the arena’. The one-hour, 40-minute show makes it for a memorable evening depicting the dinosaurs’ evolution with almost cinematic realism.
