Singapore’s first and only Hindi theatre Festival, Dastak, is back for the fourth year. This year it is showcasing some special Singapore based stories by well known local playwrights and celebrating the country’s bicentennial.
The highlights of this festival is a children’s production, performed by youngsters three years and above and another play performed by a visiting troupe from Malaysia. Like in the past where short plays were performed, this year too 10 directors and 10 writers have come together to create 10 memorable plays. And what’s even better? If you don’t understand Hindi, there will be English subtitles. So join in for an evening of pure theatrical extravaganza!
