You know you’re in great need of a vacation when you start seeing numbers and random words pop up in your line of vision then slowly dissipate. Or perhaps that’s a signal to visit the doctor! Nonetheless, a lot of us can agree that we are all too stressed out.
Overseas trips can be exciting if you’re flying first or business class, but most of us fly cattle-class and as airlines get stingier and stingier, air travel is becoming a nightmare – especially for those of us who are sensitive to body odours and airline fodder, er, food. So for us busy bees, the simplest, most time-saving way to enjoy a vacation, is a staycation!
Recently, my husband and I decided to do just that and checked ourselves into the Grand Hyatt for a Friday evening to Sunday evening retreat. The convenience behind Grand Hyatt’s Weekend 24 is the flexibility - you can check in anytime on Friday and Saturday, and check out a full 24 hours later! I had some last minute projects to complete so this was such a godsend.
