When we think Zen, the first thought that comes to mind is a sense of calm. It’s really a total state of focus that brings together body and mind. Etymologically, ‘Zen’ is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Dhyana’ or meditation which was later pronounced as Chan by the Chinese and as Zen by the Japanese.
