Singapore may soon get the title of ‘the city that never sleeps’ and that too quite literally. For a recent study by Jawbone, published in the Wall Street Journal revealed that people here, on an average sleep for 6 hours and 32 minutes only. Mexico City and Dubai tie with this city state while Tokyo and Seoul take the top two spots.
Amongst the cities that sleep soundly are Melbourne (with 7 hours and 5 minutes) followed by London, Denver, Brisbane and Paris.
The low number of sleeping hours of Asian cities could be attributed to the high pressured lifestyles that people here lead.
