Ride-hailing giant Grab launched a food delivery service in Singapore on May 28 as part of its plan to be a one-stop essential services app.
Starting as a taxi-booking app in 2013, the Singapore-headquartered start-up has ventured into bicycle rental, e-payments, micro-financing and package delivery.
Thousands of eateries are available on the GrabFood delivery service, said Grab.
There will be no minimum order requirements for GrabFood. One can also order meals up to five days in advance.
GrabFood will also be launched in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines within this quarter.
