- 2 oz whiskey
- 1.2 oz cinnamon-demerara syrup
- 1 dash orange bitters
- 1 dash Angosutra
- In a mixing glass with ice, combine whiskey and cinnamon-demerara syrup.
- Add 1 dash each of orange bitters and Angostura. Stir until well-chilled.
- Pour in shot glasses and garnish with orange or lemon peels. Add a cinnamon stick too.
For cinnamon-demerara syrup: Mix 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water and boil until the sugar is dissolved. Drop 6 full cinnamon sticks, cover and let it sit overnight. Take out the cinnamon sticks, and you’re done.
