IWC Schaffhausen is one of the world’s leading brands in the Swiss luxury watch segment that crafts masterpieces of haute horlogerie at their finest, combining supreme precision with exclusive design. It has gained an international reputation based on a passion for innovative solutions and technical ingenuity. We showcase two of the latest eye-catching collections in the iconic Portofino collection. The Portofino watch family has held a place of importance in the IWC watch collections. The collection gets its name from a former fishing village of Portofino near Genoa in Italy. Even today, the great and the good gather in Portofino to enjoy the relaxed, laid-back southern European lifestyle. The classically elegant Portofino watch family is a subtle reflection of this lifestyle.
Portofino for Two
Adding grace to the Portofino collection IWC has created a seductive range of partner watches. The Portofino Automatic and the smaller Portofino Automatic 37 have formed a bond for couples who wish to celebrate their union with a symbol on their wrists. A choice from eight combinations, either with or without diamonds makes these timepieces perfect to be adorned on your Wedding Day. The Portofino Automatic 37 and the Portofino Automatic represent the marriage of two watches. The Portofino For Two comprises six red-gold and two stainless steel watches. With a choice of diamond-set bezels or dials, these timepieces appeal to couples who not only plan to share the beautiful things in life with each other, but also wish to add a luxurious note to their mutual commitment. The sunburst pattern on the dials creates fascinating reflections of light. The colours of the alligator leather straps from well known Italian shoe manufacturer Santoni accentuate the luxurious overall impression. This collection is in a choice of models; The Portofino Automatic 37 with 66 diamonds on the bezel or a slightly more reserved one with 12 gemstones as hour markers on the dial. Two of the automatic models in red gold are available with a diamond set bezel. All red gold models come with a choice of a slate-coloured or silver-plated dial as well as gold plated hands and appliqués. The stainless-steel versions of the 37-millimetre models feature a slate-coloured dial while the automatic in the 40-millimetre case makes a stunning impression with its black dial and rhodium-plated hands and appliqués.
