Jamshed K Fozdar’s life has been unique because science and theology have seamlessly come together to create an enriched existence. A scientist by profession and a theologian by passion, he weaves science, theology and personal memories into a seamless narrative in his recently released autobiography – The Last Of The Conquerors – which gives a deep insight into his life.
“My magnum opus, this autobiography depicts the trajectory on ‘terra firma’ of a long life of ‘four score and ten’, bestowed on a ‘striver’ in humanity’s crusade of what ails our species and what can set it right, while also addressing a plethora of issues including my ‘take’ on some of the ‘movers and shakers’ of the mid 20th and early 21st centuries with whom I ‘interfaced’ personally in the many lands of Asia and the West where we have resided and ‘labored’,” said Fozdar, 90.
The autobiography, divided into four chapters defining the four seasons of his life – Spring (1926-1950), Summer (1951-1969), Autumn (1969-1986) and Winter (1987-?) -- features photographs, newspaper clippings, letters and several other memorabilia that give life to the author’s work.
