A father is looked upon as a provider and caretaker of the family. But the modern day father comes in various forms. He is no longer always the traditional breadwinner and disciplinarian in the family. Looking good and presentable not just in the corporate world but also for a family dinner is equally important to the evolved ‘daddy’ of this generation. With the metrosexual crowd on the rise, attitudes have changed and it is vital for men to look equally well-groomed and dapper as women. Men have started taking active interest not only in making their skin and body healthier, but also enhancing their features. They do not restrict their daily grooming to just shaving and combing and are open to a vast repertoire of skin care products and treatments.
Despite the inner desire for men to be able to do it all, due to lack of knowledge of the wide array of treatments available, beauty therapy does not go further than the simple grooming and a regular facial. At the same time, a larger section of men seek anti-aging treatments, hair reduction procedures as well as hair restoration procedure (hair transplant) and also ask for a more defined and chiseled face contours. Almost all the procedures can be performed without the need for general anesthesia and with little or no down-time.
