As we celebrate Father’s day this month, let us all recognise the silent role that dads play in each one’s life. They put our needs, our desires before their own but are seldom acknowledged. Being termed as the strongest member of the family, the bread earner of the family, they may not pay as much attention to their own requirements. And beauty or grooming treatments don’t usually rank high on their lists. Hence, this issue we dedicate to the skin care of men.
Talking about skin type of men, I would say there is a difference in the skin thickness and texture compared to women. But the types are classified similarly being normal, dry, oily, combination, sensitive/problem skin type. But again, like women, men are also not bound by their skin types. Depending on how they age, the kinds of products they use, medical treatment, the weather they are exposed to, the nutritional supplements they take and for other reasons, skin types can change. Skin types can sometimes also change depending on the season.
