Marina Bay Sands is all set to welcome football legend and Sands Global Ambassador David Beckham back to Singapore.
As part of the integrated resort’s corporate social responsibility programme Sands for Singapore, Beckham will be invited to grace the red carpet and attend the benefit dinner for the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) to be held at Sands Expo and Convention Centre on the evening of November 25.
Beckham will be walking the red carpet alongside celebrities including Inferno and Life of Pi actor Irrfan Khan, veteran Bollywood star Waheeda Rehman, legendary cinematographer Christopher Doyle, Hong Kong filmmaker Jenny Suen and award-winning Vietnamese-born French film director Tran Anh Hung.
Over the years, Marina Bay Sands has built a strong rapport with Beckham. In 2014, Beckham helped launch the annual Sands for Singapore Charity Festival and participated in a football clinic with beneficiaries from SportCares Singapore. In 2015, he spent time with Asean Para Games athletes and observed a football five-a-side match for the visually impaired at Marina Bay Sands.
