Calling all Indian culture buffs, it's time for the Kalaa Utsavam festival. Launched in 2002 as a three-day festival, Kalaa Utsavam has grown into a 10-day festival that presents an exciting selection of classical to contemporary performances by acclaimed Indian artists from Singapore and beyond.
This year, the 16th edition of the festival celebrates Esplanade’s 15th anniversary with a bumper crop of local talent including Apsaras Arts, Sharul Channa, Raka Maitra and Mohamed Noor as well as renowned Indian artists such as Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Daya Shankar, Tarun Bhattacharya, Atul Kumar who join new, exciting, upcoming artists like flautist B Vijayagopal and Carnatic rock gods Agam. The festival runs from November 17 to November 26 at the Esplanade and celebrates the best of Indian theatre, music and dance. Tickets cost from $20.
