Shifting neighbourhoods is always tough for families. More so if you had to move countries. And especially since you have your children’s education to consider. It’s one of the concerns parents lose sleep over. How would their little ones cope with the big change? Where is a good place where they won’t feel out of place?
These were the same questions going through the heads of Tanya and Karanjit, parents of seven-year-old Jaspratap. The family has lived in five countries in the last ten years and are relocating to Singapore after five years in South Africa. Finding the right school was crucial for their transition.
The answer came easily when they heard about GEMS World Academy (GWA). It had just recently set up its world-class campus in Singapore, and has established schools around the globe in the last 55 years. And because it is a global network, it takes a world view on education. It’s a school where diversity is celebrated. Where the spirit of understanding and tolerance is the norm.
